Well, I am a bit slow... i admit it.
DODAF 2.0 was released this summer, and i have yet to read it thoroughly, but it appears that is heavily Data related, rather than system.
Thank GOD, some sanity!
We care about where the information is flowing, not the pretty structures.
anyhow, I am going to start a little expose here on dodaf 2.0 over the next couple of weeks, seems like a great christmas activity :)
let me know if you have any thoughts on 2.0 yet.

Hi,
We are very interesting about PD and DODAF, do you sell your PD template ? or do you offer consultant service?
Please let me know if answer is yes, my email is :

Best Regards,
Hello,
I have the same general question, I have been using System Architect, but like Powerdesigner. Do you have the DODAF template for PD?
I do not. The amount of metadata changes from 1.5 to 2.0 were very huge, and no one seems to use them. My contract to complete this ended due to internal lack of interest in the re-usability aspects of architecture objects, so I have moved onto a TOGAF project now. It is amazing to see how too much detail can kill a framework, especially when the requirement to search and re-use previous objects is not there. Such is DODAF... if only DARS was really usable in a metadata exchange format that worked, and CAMD was better defined so vendors could be forced to make a clear compliance and interoperability statement, but none of them can... XMI is not enough...
Hi TDWriter,
It seems that DODAF 2.0 doesn't work, but my customers (Taiwan Airforce and Army) told me they will plan follow DODAF due to American Army also use this, funny it?
Or should I ask they move to see TOGAF? PowerDesigner could support TOGAF but I don't google anything about PD for TOGAF metadata.
